Johnsons Garden Buildings are Kent’s largest independent retailer and installer of top quality garden rooms and timber buildings. We currently have 14 display villages, all situated in busy garden centres across Kent, Surrey, Essex, London and Hampshire exhibiting our vast range of our popular garden buildings. We specialise in offering our customers the perfect space solution, whether it’s for a home office, family chill out room, gym or even the more traditional summerhouse.

POSITION: Groundwork & Base Installers

LOCATION: South-East

Johnson’s Leisure is England’s leading supplier of top-quality Garden Rooms, hot-tubs and other premium home and leisure products. We operate from 18 business premises with over 150 employees. Whilst Covid-19 has wreaked havoc across many facets of the UK job market our business continues to grow and thrive. Johnsons offer excellent rates of pay with attractive bonuses and pension.

Johnsons Garden Buildings are the leading installer of premium Garden rooms in the country, we are a B2C company based predominantly in the South-East.

Applicants should have good communication skills & a pleasant manner, a semi-skilled or trade orientated background and be able to demonstrate a good level of “hands-on” ability, professionalism, honesty, commitment and diligence. In return you will become part of the “Johnsons Family” and will be provided with job satisfaction, job security and significant remuneration.

Successful applicants will enter at the appropriate level within our tiered employment structure and be working as part of our Groundwork & Base Installation team, working outside across the South East and beyond. Full training will be provided along with a clear progression path.

• B+E Towing Licence is preferred but training can be given.

The Package

• Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday
• Uniform and correct & current PPE supplied
• Operating in a Covid-19 secure environment
• All necessary tools and equipment provided
• Full induction programme provided
• 28 days paid holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
• Salary from circa £22,000 to circa £30,000 per annum subject to experience and bonuses

POSITION: Satellite Branch Sales Executive

LOCATION: South Kent

Fancy a change? Are you hungry for success? Do you enjoy striking a deal Johnsons Garden Buildings and Johnsons Hot Tubs are the leading retailers of beautiful, fully installed Garden Rooms and top-quality Hot Tubs in the South of England.

 

What we are looking for:

We require a confident, energetic, and positive satellite salesperson to assist our Branch Sales Managers at a few of our display showrooms in the South of Kent.

Working within a small sales team, you would be expected to optimise your branch’s sales leads, offering customers an unrivalled product and customer
service.

You must be proactive, and results driven and due to the branches being open seven days a week, be flexible regarding working Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays.

Experience in the Home Improvement Industry (or similar) would be ideal but not essential.

POSITION: Marketing Coordinator

LOCATION: Sarre, nr. Canterbury

We are looking for a driven Marketing Coordinator with a passion for all things marketing to join our experienced team.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to advance their career in marketing whilst working within a hardworking, tight-knit team with ambitious goals.

The day-to-day role will focus on the execution of all marketing campaigns and activity, primarily digital, and work with the team and wider business to ensure KPI’s, deadlines and the overarching strategy is executed on brand and on time. We are looking for a positive, forward-thinking individual who is dynamic, motivational and an excellent communicator.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all day-to-day marketing team activity including the creation and implementation of campaigns, advertising etc.
  • Being a key member of the team in resourcing and scheduling social media content across a variety of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more.
  • Assisting in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
  • Work with our graphic designers and marketing team to produce relevant marketing collateral.
  • Active role in the continued management of our websites, editing and uploading content via the CMS.
  • Assist with high-level analysis and reporting of campaign performance.
  • Working with external agencies and internal stakeholders.

 

Skills

  • BA degree in Marketing or related is desirable.
  • Two or more years of marketing experience across a broad range of marketing specialties.
  • Professional experience managing print, social media, email and search engine marketing.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • An appreciation of modern graphic design trends and some working knowledge of Abode Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and to tight deadlines.
  • Working autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated & positive.

POSITION: Graphic Designer

A key role within the Marketing Team, our Graphic Designer will lead on delivering design excellence and content creation to increase awareness and reach of the Johnsons brand to its customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate as you will be responsible for leading on all image creation, info-graphics images, visual presentations and promotional material – both digital and print. You will also be responsible for planning and generating content for all digital platforms, including concept creation and implementation, commissioning content from third parties and ensuring that material reflects the tone, brand and aims of Johnsons.

 

Key Requirements

  • Proven graphic design experience.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Be able to design software across multiple industries and brand personalities to suit different audiences.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and to tight deadlines.
  • Working autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is advantageous.
