Johnsons Garden Buildings are Kent’s largest independent retailer and installer of top quality garden rooms and timber buildings. We currently have 13 display villages, all situated in busy garden centres across Kent, Surrey, Essex, London and Hampshire exhibiting our vast range of our popular garden buildings. We specialise in offering our customers the perfect space solution, whether it’s for a home office, family chill out room, gym or even the more traditional summerhouse.

POSITION: Sales Executive

Johnsons Garden Buildings are the leading retailer of top quality, fully installed Garden Rooms and Hot Tubs in the South of England.


What we are looking for:

We require a confident, energetic and positive salesperson to manage our beautiful Garden Room Display Village in Hawley Garden Centre near Dartford.

Leading a small sales team, you would be expected to optimise your branch’s sales leads, offering customers an unrivalled product and customer service which would include home site visits as part of the process.

You must be proactive and results driven and due to the branch being open seven days a week, be flexible regarding working Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Experience in the Home Improvement Industry (or similar) would be ideal but not essential.

You will need a full UK driving licence.

POSITION: Admin Assistant

LOCATION: Sarre nr. Canterbury

Johnsons Leisure, the UK’s leading supplier of top-quality garden buildings, are looking to recruit dedicated administrative staff to work within our busy and dynamic Aftersales/Customer Service office in Sarre, near Canterbury.

Successful applicants will be working as part of a team to ensure that our operations run as smoothly as possible from an administrative point of view so that our customers have an exemplary experience throughout the whole of their journey with us.

Candidates will need to have a proven track record and aptitude for administrative processes and great communication skills in both the written and verbal sense. You will be interacting with our customers by telephone and email and liaising with our extensive and experienced management team to bring about logistical solutions to the everyday needs of our customers.

The positions will suit applicants who are looking for an ‘entry level’ position in an established company that continues to expand and offer opportunities for advancement to the right people. Johnsons often fast tracks suitable people to management positions so this opportunity could be a stepping stone to a long and fulfilling career.

The Package

  • Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
  • All necessary equipment and induction programme provided
  • 28 days paid holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
  • Starting pay is £8.50 per hour
