Johnsons Garden Buildings are Kent’s largest independent retailer and installer of top quality garden rooms and timber buildings. We currently have 14 display villages, all situated in busy garden centres across Kent, Surrey, Essex, London and Hampshire exhibiting our vast range of our popular garden buildings. We specialise in offering our customers the perfect space solution, whether it’s for a home office, family chill out room, gym or even the more traditional summerhouse.

Due to continuous expansion and growth we are often looking to recruit additional staff, take a look below to see what open positions are currently available, we look forward to hearing from you.

Johnsons is a local Kent family run business that prides itself on supplying a good quality product at affordable prices. Even as Johnsons continue to grow, we strive to maintain the same family run values that transformed Johnsons into one of the leading garden room suppliers in the United Kingdom.

Johnsons strives to provide the highest quality service possible for customers from start to finish. This applies to installation teams, yard staff, sales, after-sales and also importantly the cabins themselves.

Johnsons continues to expand, within the last 12 months alone has seen the introduction of 3 new display villages in Kent & Essex as well as a new eCommerce facility offering its services online. Plans for growth across the rest of the United Kingdom continue, so watch this space.

At Johnson’s Leisure, we focus on quality over everything else.

Since we started, nearly 50 years ago, we’ve become England’s leading supplier of top-quality Garden Rooms, hot-tubs and other premium home and leisure products and we operate from 15 business premises with over 160 employees.

We’re robust and continually expanding, offering longevity and career advancement prospects beyond anything that we believe is on offer with comparable employers and a big part of the reason behind our reputation is our commitment to the people that work for us at every level as they are the heart of the operation.

Right at the centre are our Sales Teams.

Based at our purpose-built site at Dunstable, you’ll be working within a small sales team.  You’ll be optimising your branch’s sales leads and offering customers an unrivalled product and customer service.

You’ll need to be proactive, and results driven.  Ready to learn all about our range of products and be at the forefront of the business as it opens to the public.

Due to the branch being open seven days a week, you’ll need to be flexible regarding working weekends, and Bank Holidays.

Experience in the Home Improvement Industry (or similar) would be ideal but not essential.

In return, we can offer:

  • Competitive starting salary (£22,620) plus a very attractive, uncapped commission
  • Stunning working environment
  • Clear career progression opportunities
  • Full training provided

Due to its location access to your own vehicle is essential.
